Welcome to my virtual home. I am a simple man with a simple but exciting life. My hobbies include web development, swimming, and singing. I have a "Machiavellian" little brother, Dan, and a cute, little sister we recently picked up from China, Julia.

October 2, 2009 - Students joined together to celebrate Clayton's international vibrancy at the International Day Festival. Musical performances, presentations on international projects, and a potluck dinner all added to the fun. Full article here.

February 22, 2009 - Tonight was the Organization of Chinese Americans 2009 annual banquet. Community Service and Youth Leadership Award recipients were recognized in this celebration for the Year of the Ox. Click here for photos.

May 14, 2008 - Do you love to read comics? Do you enjoy whole-grain humor? If so, check out Goldman Comics by my friend Ben. Everything there is bread, bread, and some more bread... I highly recommend it to all!

April 12, 2008 - Students from all over Missouri gathered in Columbia today to enjoy National History Day. Ms. Baldwin's Wydown students earned many notable places. Chi got 2nd for his website on Nixon's visit to China. Details

February 23, 2008 - Clayton again rocked the house at the St. Louis National History Day. Helen Wiley took 1st in the essay category. Emily Wack also was a paper finalist. Chi took 1st in senior websites. We totally made history, get it... history?

February 17, 2008 - Clayton TEAMS performed exceptionally. Varsity teams A, B, C, & D took 1st - 4th place respectively. Team JV A placed 3rd. Doing physics problems is just a perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon.

February 11, 2008 - Wow... first update in quite a while. Anyhow, talented AIT singers throughout the St. Louis area collected at the Washington University Grand Chapel yesterday to enjoy the fellowship of opera at the Winter Recital.

April 21, 2007 - The CHS math team dominated at the 2007 Missouri state GPML (Greater Plains Math League)! Many mathletes placed and our school qualified for the national competition. May Euler be one our side at the national competition!

March 17, 2007 - The CHS freshmen "mathletic" team (Chi, Ken, Ting, Michael A., Si) won the Excellence in Math contest! Michael got 8th. Ting recieved 7th place, Ken won 4th, and Chi got 1st place in Division I. Congrats to the CHS freshmen mathletes!

March 14, 2007 - π Day! Why do mathematicians bother to celebrate such an irrational holiday anyway? For more information, see The First 101 Digits, an opera by... some famous composer :) Happy 3.1415926535896 day!

March 13, 2007 - The CHS pops concert was awesome! Everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. Click here for photos and here for videos taken that night. It was truly a job well done. You could see Ms. Fasman making her auspicious laugh. (Ahahaha!)

March 2, 2007 - Talented young musicians all over St. Louis gathered at the Florissant Valley Community College today for the Solo Ensemble festival. I heard a lot of really good performances! Congrats to all who got a 1 and everyone involved!

February 16, 2007 - Chinese New Year was full of dumplings and playing in the snow. This marks the beginning of a fresh new year in the lunar calender. I think we are the only ones who celebrate New Years by going to the zoo on such a cold day.

January 11, 2007 - Dan won the Wydown Geography Bee! "Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan!" excitedly shouted Dan after his victory. In this photo, Dan meditates on Safety Guard as he purges his inner soul of all external distractions.

January 1, 2007 - Talented choir students from around the St. Louis area united as one choir during the All Suburban Honor Choir. Five pieces were learned in one day and perfomed later that evening. It was tiring, but very fun!

December 16, 2006 - The 2006 St. Louis Modern Chinese School End-of-the-Year Gala was fun and enjoyment for everyone that came. The performances were awesome and variegated - from lion dancing to karate. Photos coming soon.

December 9, 2006 - Performers from all over the district came to the Parkway Acapella Invitational to share their voices. The creator of Hakuna Matata! from Lion King and a beat-boxer from Washington DC added a different dimension to the event.

November 8, 2006 - The CHS choirs performed exceptionally at the fall concert. The entire evening was filled with singing, dancing, and enjoying music. We broke a leg and hopped on one foot... it was truly a job well done!

October 31, 2006 - Halloween was fun for everyone. As ninjas, Pikachus, Darth Vaders, and cookie monsters haunted the night, I offered my gratitude to the trick-or-treaters in the form of a piece of celery.

October 16, 2006 - The Clayton High School Speech and Debate Team performed excellently during the Saturday PCH Speech & Debate Tournament. Our team won various trophies in many categories including Extemp, Oratory, and Debate.

September 22, 2006 - The Clayton High School Swim Team has won their first meet this year at Pattonville! The final score was 101 to 64. "We should seriously hold a party for this," says Paul Orland, who won the 500 free.
